Reservation Rules in Deemed Medical College 2025-26

Deemed Medical Colleges in India are open to all NEET UG candidates without any state or category-based reservation except for PwD seats, unlike other Govt. and Private AIQ or state quota seats, which follow the Vertical reservation rules of the Central Govt and State Govt.

Admission to MBBS courses in deemed universities is conducted through MCC counselling only, with no state Quota. NRI seats in deemed medical colleges are exclusively reserved for NRI candidates or NRI-sponsored students. Additionally, minority deemed medical institutions are permitted to reserve up to 50% of their management quota seats under the Minority Quota, in accordance with their approved minority status.
