About College

Amrita School of Medicine at Kochi is a reputed private medical institution in Kerala. It has an 'A++' accreditation from the NAAC and is ranked at number 9 among the medical colleges of India.

The institute was established in 2002 by Amma (Sri Mata Amritanandmayi Devi) , a humanitarian, spiritual leader and Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The institution is managed by Mata Amritanandmayi Math (MAM).

The institute is a constituent of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (a Deemed-to-be-University) and affiliated to it. The institution is approved by the National Medical Commission. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, super-speciality and allied health sciences medical programs. It offers 149 MBBS seats annually and its degrees are recognised across the country.
