Amrita School of Medicine at Kochi is a reputed private medical institution in Kerala. It has an 'A++' accreditation from the NAAC and is ranked at number 9 among the medical colleges of India.

The institute was established in 2002 by Amma (Sri Mata Amritanandmayi Devi) , a humanitarian, spiritual leader and Chancellor of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The institution is managed by Mata Amritanandmayi Math (MAM).

The institute is a constituent of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (a Deemed-to-be-University) and affiliated to it. The institution is approved by the National Medical Commission. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, super-speciality and allied health sciences medical programs. It offers 149 MBBS seats annually and its degrees are recognised across the country.

The campus is 125 acres large and has the attached teaching hospital, various institutes (like Amrita School of Dentistry, Amrita School of Nursing, Amrita School of Pharmacy, Amrita School of Allied health Sciences) and a 12-storey medical college building.

4. Applicants can be Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs and foreign nationals (as per clearances from the Ministry)
