The Correction Window (Expected: April 2026)

Made a small mistake in your form? Don't panic! The NTA opens a special correction window for a few days. At this time, you can make any changes that are needed.

Admit Card (Expected: First Week of May 2026)

This card allows you to give NEET UG 2026 examination. You can download it on the NTA site. Keep it with you during your test day.

The NEET 2026 Exam Day (Expected: First Week of May 2026)

This is it! The NEET 2026 exam is expected to be held on the first Sunday of May. It will be 3 hours and 20 minutes test on paper.

Answer Key and Result (Expected: June 2026)

The NTA shall then release an answer key after the exam. You get to check your answers and even challenge them in case you believe there is an error. The result of your NEET 2026 and rank will be posted on the NTA website.

Counselling Period (Expected: July-August 2026)

NEET UG 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?

You must be an Indian citizen. Students of OCI and NRI are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

You must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2026. There is no upper age limit for the NEET UG entrance exam.

Education Qualification

  • You should have successfully written Class 12.
  • Subjects Required: You should have majored in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English.
  • Marks: a minimum of 50% marks (in the General category), 40% marks (in the SC/ST/OBC category) in PCBs are necessary.

NEET UG 2026 Syllabus and Examination Pattern
