About College
The Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences (MRIMS) is a leading medical school in Hyderabad, established by the Malla Reddy Group between 2012 and 2013. Situated in Suraram, Hyderabad, the college has recently moved to Deemed-to-be, University status as a part of Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth and is an advantage for prospective students across the country.
MRIMS has an annual capacity of 200 MBBS students, is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), and is accredited by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The college is located on a 10-acre campus and has a state-of-the-art attached teaching hospital with 1250 beds that serve a variety of patient populations and provide students with a tremendous amount of clinical exposure. Admission Process 2026, MRIMS Hyderabad
MRIMS seats are now assigned through a single centralised national counselling process due to its being approved as a deemed university.
- Entrance exam: Candidates must qualify and pass the NEET-UG 2026 with a valid percentile.
- Counselling: Admission to MRIMS is done only via the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), who runs the process for 'deemed universities'.
- Choice filling: Candidates should choose "Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad” as their college of choice during MCC counselling rounds.
