The Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences (MRIMS) is a leading medical school in Hyderabad, established by the Malla Reddy Group between 2012 and 2013. Situated in Suraram, Hyderabad, the college has recently moved to Deemed-to-be, University status as a part of Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth and is an advantage for prospective students across the country.

MRIMS has an annual capacity of 200 MBBS students, is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), and is accredited by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The college is located on a 10-acre campus and has a state-of-the-art attached teaching hospital with 1250 beds that serve a variety of patient populations and provide students with a tremendous amount of clinical exposure. Fee Structure 2026, MRIMS Hyderabad

Because MRIMS is considered a Deemed University, finance costs will remain the same for all courses in 2026 and include tuition, registration, and laboratory expenses.

• Estimated Annual Tuition Fee 2026: Rs.15,00,000 - Rs.19,00,000. Same for management, general quota or other equivalent course in this category.
• Estimated NRI Quota Tuition Fee 2026: Rs.37,000 - Rs.40,000. Total Fee is Rs.1,89,000 for the entire duration of course.
• Counselling Deposit Requirement: Rs.2,00,000 refundable security deposit to register with an MCC Deemed University.
• Annual Hostel fees: approx Rs.1,50,000 including mess charges
• Fees for one-time charges, including registration and university fees are charged separately for each student during the first year of admissions.

Admission Process 2026, MRIMS Hyderabad

MRIMS seats are now assigned through a single centralised national counselling process due to its being approved as a deemed university.

1. Entrance exam: Candidates must qualify and pass the NEET-UG 2026 with a valid percentile.
2. Counselling: Admission to MRIMS is done only via the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), who runs the process for 'deemed universities'.
3. Choice filling: Candidates should choose "Malla Reddy Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad” as their college of choice during MCC counselling rounds.
4. Allotment of seats: Seats will be allocated to shortlisted candidates based on their NEET AIR, their category (i.e. open, reserved, etc) and availability of seats. MRIMS will be conducting 4 rounds of allotments (Round 1, Round 2, Mop Up and Stray vacancies).
5. Reporting: Shortlisted candidates will be required to go to the campus in Hyderabad to present original documents for verification and to make a final payment of their admission fees.

Eligibility Criteria

Students must meet the following eligibility criteria when applying to study MBBS for the 2026 academic year.

• Age: You must turn 17 by December 31, 2026.
• Academic Criteria:
  • You are required to complete your Secondary School Education (10+2) science education with the required subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
  • Marks: You must receive a 50% aggregate in these subjects (40% for SC, ST and OBC) in order to qualify to write the NEET exam.
• NEET Percentile: The minimum percentile mark required are

Hostel & Student Accommodation

The hostel buildings for both male and female students are approximately equal, thereby facilitating privacy and security.

• Most student accommodation consists of shared (roommate) accommodation. Each student has their own bed/table/ storage area.
• The male & female hostels provide round the clock electricity supply. Pure drinking water (Reverse Osmosis), internet access, and solar heating system for heated water.
• Each hostel has a common mess providing hygienic & nutritious South Indian & North Indian food. Additional food will be provided through the food courts located on campus.

• An outdoor sports complex featuring a cricket, football, and volleyball field. a 400m running track and other athletic-related facilities.
• The hostels each have a separate, modern gymnasium.
• The entire campus is monitored 24-hours-per-day by a network of CCTV cameras and all buildings have separate entries by way of biometric recognition. Additionally, there are regular guards present on campus 24 hours per day.
