Assam Medical Colleges Counselling

Seat allocation for Assam MBBS admissions happens in multiple rounds - in both All India Quota (AIQ) counselling and Assam state counselling.

What is Multiple Counselling Rounds?

There are a number of reasons why seats can go unfilled, such as the students:

  • Decide against attending the college they chose to attend based on poor grades or financial difficulties
  • Does not have enough funds to pay the necessary amount
  • Does not have a valid category certificate or reservation proof

Fees and documents are due by the answer deadline and are not refundable; they become available in the next round.

How are Seats Allocated?

The DME Guwahati (Directorate of Medical Education) prepares and publishes the Assam state merit list under each category.

You can check your chances using previous year NEET cutoffs for each college.
