Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College Kolhapur, was founded in 1989 by Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil. It is a very well-known private institution approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It is affiliated with D Y Patil Education Society (Deemed University), Kolhapur.
