Rural Medical College (RMC), Loni is located in Loni village of Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. It is a reputed private medical institution that provides quality medical education as well as exposure to rural healthcare. The  college was founded in 1984 by the Pravara Rural Education Society and functions under the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (Deemed University). It is officially recognized by the National Medical Commission(NMC).

The college is located on a lush-green and peaceful campus with modern classrooms, residential accommodation for students, well equipped laboratories and infrastructure. The attached Pravara Rural Hospital is a 1250-bed hospital that provides clinical training and experience to the students.

Admission Process 2026, Rural Medical College Loni

The MBBS medical program admission process is as follows:

  1. Qualify NEET UG 2026 conducted by the National testing Agency (NTA).
  2. Register for centralized counselling through:
    • Maharashtra State CET Cell (State quota)
    • Medical Counselling Committee (All India Quota)
  3. Participate in choice filling by selecting  RMC Loni.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for MBBS admission, the candidates must meet  the following criteria:

  • Candidates should have completed 12th standard or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with minimum 50% aggregate scores for general category and the equivalent for reserved categories, from a recognised educational board.  
  • Qualify the NEET UG with minimum percentage criterion 50th percentile for general category, 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC category and 45th percentile for General-PH category.
  • Candidates  must be 17 years old on or before 31 December of the year of admission.

Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and foreign nationals who meet the academic norms are eligible for admission to the programme.
