Russia has many of the world’s oldest and most reputed medical universities in the field of medicine. These universities are government-funded which guarantees great infrastructure and the best academic resources. A degree in medicine from these Russian universities has all the recognition and accreditation that you need to make an international career as a doctor.

Though the Russian medical universities have so much to offer, neither do they charge high MBBS tuition fees nor do they seek extraordinary academic records when admitting students. If you are passionate about becoming a doctor and have not been able to score very well in NEET UG or other entrance exams, Russia comes up as a great alternative.

If you explore other options, you will find that either they are very expensive or the eligibility criteria are too stringent. Russia stands out not only because of the reasonable tuition fee its medical universities charge, but also because the cost of living in Russia is more or less equivalent to that of India.

So, the overall financial burden associated with studying medicine here is remarkably less, to begin with. Also, the quality of education and the regard that a Russian medical qualification holds ensure that you will recover the expenditure you incur well within 5 years of practice.

Most importantly, Russia has a sound law & order structure that ensures the security that you, as a foreign student, will have. Russia and India have had a great bond for a long time and Indians are always welcome and treated with respect.

MBBS in Russia: The Moksh advantage

Most individuals who have an interest in the field of medical education are aware of the great things that Russia has to offer. This also results in the existence of many dubious foreign education agents who swindle unsuspecting students and parents.

We have come across many who have suffered in the hands of these agents. Some of them will try and extract the fee of 6 years together. You must remember that no university ever charges fees in advance. They always take the tuition fee for a year, at the most.

Also, there are certain universities that teach the Russian language. But these agents present these as English-taught programs. The students have to bear the tremendous burden of learning Russian in a limited time frame.
