Govt Medical Colleges- SCP

The following Government Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh were established using Special Component Plan (SCP) funds. During the initial rounds of UP NEET 2025-26 Counselling, a controversial 70% of seats were reserved for SC candidates in these institutes.

However, following a crucial intervention by the Allahabad High Court, this deviation from the standard reservation policy has been abolished. The High Court has ordered these colleges to revert to the standard State Reservation Rules for all future seat allotments."
