Service Bond for MBBS in Chhattisgarh Government Medical Colleges (2026)

For the 2026 MBBS admission cycle, students securing seats in Government Medical Colleges in Chhattisgarh must sign a compulsory rural service bond as per Directorate of Medical Education (CGDME) rules. After completing MBBS (including internship), candidates are required to serve 2 years in state-designated rural health facilities.

Failure to complete the bond results in a substantial penalty. The bond amount is approximately 25 Lakhs for Unreserved (UR) candidates and 20–25 Lakhs for Reserved (SC/ST/OBC) categories.
