Shaikh-Ul-Hind Maulana Mahmood Hasan Medical College was established in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh in 2015 through the efforts of the Uttar Pradesh Ministry of Health. It was established to promote medical educational advancement and improve health care services within the Saharanpur area.

The college has a well-designed campus located on Ambala Road near the Clock Tower in the city of Saharanpur that is utilized for both academic instruction and clinical training.

SMMH Medical College is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University and is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
