About College

In 2022, Government Medical College Bhadradri Kothagudem opened its doors in Palvancha, Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana state. Its purpose was to improve medical education and the provision of medical services in rural areas. The campus is approximately 300 km away from Hyderabad and is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences.

The National Medical Commission has officially recognised the college, which has been a new addition to the list of State-run government institutions in Telangana. The college is devoted to providing high-quality medical training to 150 students who now have access to an intensive training in undergraduate education. There are no postgraduate programs available at this time.

The college is linked with a 500 plus bedded government hospital, which provides students with ample clinical exposure to patients who attend the hospital regularly. Students will benefit from a hands-on approach to learning, conducting research, and offering community-based healthcare, especially in areas of high need.
