Government Medical College (GMC) Mulugu is a Government formed medical institution in the newly formed aspiration district of Mulugu in Telangana. It was established in 2024 to improve healthcare facilities and medical education in the region.

The institute is affiliated with the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal and is approved by the National Medical Commission. The institute offers 50 MBBS seats every year.

Of the total seats, 85% seats are filled through Telangana State NEET-UG Counselling (KNRUHS) and 15% seats through All India Quota (MCC).

The institute has a good infrastructure, qualified faculty and a strong academic curriculum in line with the NMC standards. It has modern lecture halls, advanced laboratories and residential accommodation for the students.

The college is attached to the Government General Hospital in Mulugu for providing practical training to the students in all departments and specialities.

  • Teaching hospital : Government General Hospital Mulugu (500 beds) - a multispeciality hospital and tertiary care centre offers practical training in various departments and specialities.
