Who Can Apply to IPER Tashkent?

You need to clear three gates before you apply: your class 12 marks, your NEET score, and your age. Miss any one, and the university cannot accept you.

  • Class 12 with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), with at least 50% aggregate marks. Students from reserved categories need 40%.

  • A valid NEET-UG qualifying score. You do not need a specific cutoff rank, but you must have appeared for and passed the exam.

  • Minimum age of 17 years by December 31 of your admission year.

  • A passport that stays valid well beyond your travel date.

If you meet all four, you are ready to start your application.

Documents Needed for IPER Tashkent Application

You will need six documents ready before you apply. Missing even one slows down your offer letter.

Document Required For
Class 10 and 12 marksheets Academic eligibility check
NEET-UG scorecard NMC compliance and application review
Passport (scanned copy) Application and visa processing
Passport-size photographs Application form
Medical fitness certificate Visa and university enrollment
Birth certificate Visa invitation processing

Scan every document in color, before you begin your application. This one habit saves you days of back-and-forth with the admissions office.

Step-by-Step Timeline: NEET to Departure

This is the part most guides skip. Each step below comes with a realistic timeframe, not a guess. Some steps depend on you. Others depend on the university or the Uzbek government. Know the difference, and you will not panic when something takes longer than expected.

1

NEET-UG Result to University Shortlisting (Day 0 to 3)

Once your NEET-UG result is out, confirm your eligibility and shortlist IPER Tashkent along with backup options. This step is on you. Do not wait.

2

Form Submission (Day 3-7)

Fill university's online form and upload documents.

3

Document Verification takes place (Day 7 to Day 14)

Your marksheets, NEET score and passport are reviewed by the admissions team. It is the university's responsibility, and when this is delayed it is almost certain that the document is missing and/or unclear.

4

Admission Letter is Issued (Day 14 to 21)

Once your documents clear, IPER University Tashkent (MIPER) sends you a provisional admission letter. This letter means your seat is confirmed. This letter helps to begin the visa process.

5

Registration Fee Payment (Day 21 to 25)

You pay the registration fee to lock in your seat. Keep the payment receipt. You will need it later.

6

Invitation Letter From Uzbekistan's Foreign Ministry (Day 25 to 40)

This is the step most students underestimate for MBBS in Uzbekistan. The university applies to Uzbekistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for your visa invitation letter. It usually takes 15 to 20 days to process. You cannot speed this up, so plan around it rather than against it.

7

Student Visa Application (Day 40 to 55)

With your invitation letter in hand, you apply for your student visa at the Uzbekistan Embassy in India. Processing typically runs 3 to 4 weeks. Please book your embassy appointment ahead of time as appointments are limited and tend to fill up quickly during busy intake periods.

8

Travel Booking and Departure (Day 55 to 65)

Once your visa stamps, book your flight to Tashkent. Aim to land at least a few days before your official orientation date, so you have time to settle in.

What to Prepare Before Flying to Tashkent

Students forget the same five things every intake cycle. Do not be one of them.

  • Carry your attested original documents in your hand luggage, not your checked bag. Never send originals in checked luggage.
  • Arrange your forex before you leave. Carry a mix of cash and a forex card.
  • Buy a local SIM plan or check international roaming rates before you land, so you are not stuck without signal on day one.
  • Pack for cold weather. Tashkent turns chilly by October, and many Indian students underpack for it.
  • Print your hostel confirmation and save your university contact's phone number. Wi-Fi at the airport is not guaranteed.

What Happens After You Land?

There are 3 required steps in your first week in Tashkent. Complete them in order.

University registration

Report to the admissions office to complete your enrollment and collect your student ID.

Migration registration (OVIR)

Uzbek law requires all foreign students to register with local migration authorities within a set number of days after arrival. Your university usually handles this, but confirm it yourself.

Hostel check-in and orientation

Get settled in your room and get to know your roommates. Then, foreign students need to attend the university's orientation program.

MOKSH Overseas Educon handles everything mentioned in this blog. We help out students to map their journey according to their PG goals. Know the right path through our FREE MBBS expert counseling. Fill the form and our professional will contact you.
