About College
The Autonomous State Medical College and Hospital, (ASMC) Auraiya, a government medical institution was recently formed in 2024 as part of the initiative of the Government of Uttar Pradesh to increase the access of quality medical education and healthcare services in the region.
The college is also known as Lokmata Punyashloka Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Autonomous State Medical College, Auraiya.
The college is situated in Samadhan Purwa, Sehud in the Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh and has an attached teaching hospital that caters to a large patient population, ensuring good clinical exposure for students. It has advanced facilities, modern laboratories, residential accommodation for the students and experienced faculty.
The college is affiliated with the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow and is recognized by the National Medical Commission, conforming to national standards despite being a newly established and approved medical college in the state.
