Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and research Centre, Bangalore, is a well-known private medical institution in Karnataka. Admission Process 2026, VIMS
The admission process for the MBBS course is based on merit and is as follows :
- Candidates must appear and qualify in NEET-UG 2026 with a valid score.
- Candidates must register for KEA counselling for state quota or MCC for All India quota.
- Candidates must fill choices and select VIMS, Bangalore in preference.
- Candidates are allotted seats as per NEET-UG 2026 rank, score and reservation category.
- Seat sharing and reservation is as per the e Consensual Agreement between Government of Karnataka and the Association of Minority Professional Colleges in Karnataka (AMPCK) for regulating the fee structure and admission for undergraduate courses.

- To be eligible for admission to MBBS program, candidates must fulfil the following :
- Pass Class 12 (10+2)with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing 50% aggregate score in PCB for general category and its equivalent in reserved categories.
- Be at least 17 years old by 31 December 2026.
- Must compulsorily qualify NEET-UG 2026 with required percentile.
- Must be Indian nationals.
- Non-Karnataka (outstation) candidates can apply through complying with KEA counselling process.
