About College
Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary is a Government medical institution in Karnataka. It offers MBBS, postgraduate(MD/MS) and paramedical diploma medical programs. It was founded in 1961 to provide healthcare facilities and medical education. It is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, and recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
It offers an undergraduate MBBS program with 200 seats per year.. It also offers BDS,Nursing and postgraduate MD/MS/MCh medical programs.

Admission Process, VIMS Bellary
The admission process for the MBBS course is as follows:
- Candidates must appear and qualify in NEET-UG 2026 with a valid score
- Candidates must register for KEA counselling for state quota and MCC for All India quota
- Candidates must fill choices and select VIMS, Bellary in preference

- Must be Indian nationals.
