About College
Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Etawah is a premier Government medical institution established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2016. It is also known as UPUMS and is located in Saifai, Etawah in Uttar Pradesh. It is an independent state university and is an autonomous and self-affiliating institution.
The institution is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and offers MBBS, postgraduate (MD/MS) , Nursing, Paramedics and Pharmacy medical programs. It offers 200 MBBS seats per year.
The large campus houses a 1050-bed multispeciality hospital and tertiary care centre, a 150 bed trauma/burns centre, a 528 bed super-speciality hospital, specialized colleges for medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy and paramedical education, academic blocks, administrative blocks, residential accommodation for students and faculty and medical facilities.
A 300 bed Obstetric-Gynaecology and Pediatrics is in the process of being formed.
