Samara Medical Institute is known to be a major scientific and educational center of the Volga region with 13 commercial institutions, 12 public institutes of higher education and 26 colleges. It has a philharmonic orchestra hall, five drama theaters and opera and ballet house. Furthermore, there’s a museum of fine arts, museum of natural history and museum of local history.
Landing to the sports facilities, the Samara Medical Institute is well-equipped with athletic facilities for the physical fitness of students. Also, there is training sessions organized at the campus in 14 different disciplines. The Samara Medical Institute also has many student clubs, associations, project groups and sections for extra-curricular activity.

Having separate hostels for girls and boys, Samara medical University is well-equipped with CCTV surveillance for the safety and security of its students, that too, 24 X 7. Each hostel has free Wi-Fi, hot/cold water, and heater (air conditioner) facilities. Every hostel has a kitchen at each floor where students can cook for their own selves, if they wish.
Also, there are washing rooms for students where you can easily wash your clothes. In fact, no outsider is allowed to enter the premises of Samara medical University without due permission from the dean’s office.
