About Campus life
"Offering over 185 medical specialties, Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University works whole-heartedly to train specialists. Also, it renders exceptionally good facilities to both Ukrainians as well as international students. Currently, it has 443 teaching professionals working out of which 264 are PhD candidates, 77 PhD holders, 5 are honored science and technique workers of Ukraine, 19 academicians, 2 honored doctors, 1 honored worker of public education of Ukraine, 2 laureates of Ukrainian state prize (carrying out scientific, pedagogical , educational and medical work at 48 department).
Furthermore, it includes the post graduate training as well which means Clinical residency training, internship, PhD and Master Courses, post-diploma training for doctors and specialization training."
Hostel and facilities
There are 4 hostels in Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University with a capacity of over 2000 students. Further to this, these hostel rooms have an apartment like structure with attached washrooms and shower rooms. There are options of twin-sharing and triple sharing for international students. Each room is well-furnished with pillows, beds, mattress, blankets, one cupboard, two side tables, chair, etc.
In fact, each floor in the hostel has this common hall dedicated for group activities, socializing, and a common kitchen for cooking. Glad tidings from all the fitness freaks! There’s a gym cum recreation center (including a tennis table) at the campus to keep you guys motivated. Speaking about hygiene, there’s a weekly change of bed-sheet and pillowcase. Laundry services, centralized heating, and hot water are easily accessible plus a carpenter, plumber, and electrician are always available on call. In addition to this, the security is fully assured since the hostels are all under surveillance 24 X 7 and for entering the hostel you need to have the card and biometrics registered in the system, and until and unless the system verifies you, you are not allowed to enter the hostel building.
