University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), located in Dilshad Garden, East Delhi, was established in 1971 as a constituent college of University of Delhi. It is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and is among India's top government medical colleges.

The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral medical programs. The annual intake of MBBS students is 150 every year.

Admission Process 2026, UCMS Delhi

MBBS Admission at UCMS is based entirely on merit - through NEET-UG 2026.

Firstly the candidates have to qualify NEET-UG 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency.

After the results, candidates have to:

1. Register for counselling under the Medical Counselling Committee (for All India Quota) or Delhi state counselling via FMSC.
2. Fill and lock college choices - select UCMS Delhi as preference.
3. Seats are allotted based on rank, category and preferences.
4. When the seat is allotted, the allotment letter is to be downloaded.
5. Report personally to the college with all the original documents for document verification, medical fitness check and payment of fees
   This has to be done within the given timeline otherwise the allotted seat may get cancelled.
6. For any remaining vacant seats, further rounds may be conducted.

Admission is based only on merit and there is no management quota.

Eligibility Criteria

To secure admission at UCMS, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Passed Class 12 (10+2) or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognised board with minimum aggregate marks in PCB - 50% (General Category) (40-45% for reserved categories)
• Must qualify NEET-UG 2026 with the required cut-off score/percentile.
• Minimum age has to be 17 years by 31st December 2026
• Applicants can be Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, and foreign nationals (as per guidelines)
