About College

The Uma Nath Singh Autonomous State Medical College is a government-run medical school in Siddiqpur, Jaunpur District (Uttar Pradesh). Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav laid the foundation stone of the College in 2014.

The College commenced operation as a State Medical College but became an Autonomous Society in 2019 and changed its name to Uma Nath Singh Autonomous State Medical College in honour of the freedom fighter in 2021. The College is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University and is recognised by the National Medical Commission.

The College has 100 MBBS seats available each year, has a full teaching hospital associated with it and provides practical clinical training to its students. The College is perceived as one of the emerging viable, government-controlled medical colleges serving eastern Uttar Pradesh and providing low-cost access to medical education.

Admission Process 2026, ASMC Jaunpur
