About College
Sri Venkateswara Medical College Hospital & Research Institute is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This is also among India's most newly founded private medical colleges, opening its doors in 2022 AD (calendar year). The college is located in Nallur (Redhills) and is accessible directly off the Grand Northern Highway on the southern side of Chennai City.
The National Medical Commission has given approval for this College to offer MBBS Programs as well as the affiliation of the College to Sri Venkateswara University, Thoothukudi.
The primary aim of the Medical College is to ensure that students receive top-level training for their work as competent doctors. Fee Structure 2026
The approximate annual fees for MBBS in Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College are listed below according to different types of admission quotas:

Admission Process 2026
To participate in SVMCH&RI's MBBS Program you must complete the NEET-UG test (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate), complete Tamil Nadu's NEET-UG counselling (conducted by DME in TN), and select your preferred colleges during the counselling process as per the NEET rank you achieved (the NEET rank must be qualified).
You will be assigned a seat according to the Government of Tamil Nadu's Policies and the availability of seats after the completion of TN Counselling.
If you are allocated a seat, you must then attend the allotted SVMCH & RI College during the required timeframe, provide required documents for Verification, and make payment of your Fee.
Upon completion of the above your admission to the SVMCH & RI College is confirmed.
The selection process for the MBBS program at Sri Venkateswaraa Medical College will comply with the regulations from both the state of Tamil Nadu and the Government of India, and will use merit-based rules in accordance with the selecting agencies policy modifications.
Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for MBBS program you will need to meet certain eligibility criteria:
- Must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology subjects.
- When applying, you will also be required to obtain the NEET-UG minimum cut-off percentile.
- You must be at least 17 years old on or before 31 December during the year of application.
