About College

Sree Uthradom Thirunal (SUT) Academy of Medical Sciences, is a famous private self-financing medical institution in Trivandrum (now called Thiruvananthapuram) in Kerala. It was established in 2006 by SUT Group of Hospitals and is managed by the Moogambigai Charitable and Educational Trust.

The institute is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and is also recognized by the National Medical Commission. It offers 150 MBBS seats annually and also has postgraduate (MD/MS) and allied health sciences medical programs.

The campus is spread across 30 acres and has an attached teaching hospital,smart classrooms, modern lecture halls, advanced laboratories, residential accommodation for students and support facilities.

Fee Structure 2026

The MBBS fees structure depends as per the seat quotas.

Approximate Annual MBBS Tuition Fee:

• Rs.7,76,504 per year for State Merit / management quota
• Rs.21,65,270 per year for NRI quota

Special fee for 1st year: Rs.77,944

Special fee for 2nd to 5th years: Rs.56,381

Refundable caution deposit: Rs.10,000

Hostel and mess charges: Rs.1,14,200 per year

There may be additional academic charges, lab, library fee, sports, etc to be paid as applicable.

The fees are regulated by the Fee Regulatory Committee of Kerala and may vary each year. The final fees can be confirmed from the college or during counselling.

Admission Process 2026

Admission for MBBS is based totally on merit i.e. NEET-UG 2026 performance.

1. Get the qualifying percentile in NEET-UG 2026.
2. Register via the portal of KEAM CEE-Kerala for counselling.
3. Upload documents for verification online.
4. In choice filling, select SUT Academy of Medical Sciences Thiruvananthapuram, as preferred college.

2. Must qualify NEET-UG 2026 with minimum required score/cutoff
3. Must be at least 17 years old as on 31 December 2026
4. Applicants can be Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs and PIOs.
5. Kerala Domicile holders are preferred for state quota seats.
6. Must be medically fit.
