About College

Sree Gokulam Medical College and Research Foundation, located in Venjaramoodu, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala on a serene campus ideal for learning medicine, was started by Sree Gokulam Gopalan in 2004. The first batch of 50 students was admitted to study medicine (MBBS) in 2005; today the institution admits 150 students per year on average at the undergraduate level plus many postgraduate students to study medicine.

Sree Gokulam Medical College and Research Foundation is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences, and its MBBS program is approved by the National Medical Commission.

Fee Structure 2026

Sree Gokulam Medical College & Research Foundation Trivandrum tuition fees structure for MBBS for the academic year 2026 will be approximately; Rs.7,71,595 per year under State Merit Quota.

Students, who would take admission through Management Quota would have to pay approximately Rs.20 to Rs.22 lakhs per annum. The total estimated fee for the complete 5.5 Years MBBS Course would be approximately: Rs.38 to Rs.40 lakhs depending on the recent revisions done by the Kerala Fee Regulatory Committee.

Hostel fees would be charged around Rs.1,11,950 per annum and it will include the cost of accommodation and a refundable caution deposit of Rs. 5,000.

In addition to tuition and hostel fee, students also need to pay a few additional one-time and recurring charges including:

• College caution deposit,
• Library and laboratory fees,
• Admission charges,
• Examination and other miscellaneous charges.

Additional Fees will be approximately Rs.20,000-30,000 per annum.

NRI Quota Fees would be much higher than those charged to other students and could exceed Rs.21 lakhs per annum besides other fees. Students must confirm their current fee structure with the Kerala CEE Counselling Authority before taking admission.

Admission Process 2026

MBBS admissions are strictly determined by NEET UG 2026 Rank scores, but an applicant must first achieve the required percentile score to register for this admission process.

The process for admission is generally as follows:

1. Complete an online registration with the Kerala Commissioner for Entrance Examination CEE counselling web portal
2. Validate and submit all mandatory documentation
3. Take part in all Centralised Counselling Rounds including: 1st round, 2nd round, Mop Up, and Stray Vacancy Rounds
4. Select and lock the college preference including Sree Gokulam Medical College
5. Receive allotment based on NEET Rank, Category, and college seat availability
6. Complete admission requirements by reporting to the college with original documents and payment of fees due
7. Complete required undertakings such as an anti-ragging declaration, and complete final registration for admission

Candidates should also complete an online database submission via the College official web site prior to reporting for admission.

Eligibility Criteria

In order for you to qualify for an MBBS program in 2026, you must meet the following criteria.

1. You must be at least 17 years old or older by December 31, 2026
2. You must pass the NEET UG 2026 and you need to achieve the following percentiles to be eligible for admission:
   • General: 50%
   • OBC: 45%
   • SC / ST : 40%
3. You must also possess a high-school diploma (or equivalent) in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with the following qualifying grades:
   • 50% for general
   • 45% for OBC
   • 40% for SC / ST
4. Indian nationals, OCI candidates, and eligible NRI applicants can apply according to prevailing counseling guidelines.
