Siddaganga Medical Hospital and Research Institute Tumakuru (SMRCI) is a renowned private medical college in Tumkuru in Karnataka. It was established in 2022 by the Sree Siddaganga Math with the blessings of HH Padma Bhushan, Karnataka Ratna Dr. Sree Sree Sivakumara Mahashivayogi and HH Sree Sree Siddalinga Mahaswamyji.

The institute is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college offers quality MBBS education supported by modern infrastructure and strong clinical exposure.

Fee Structure 2026, Siddaganga Medical College and Research Institute

The fee structure for MBBS (as per KEA guidelines) is as follows :

Approx. annual MBBS tuition fees :

  • Rs.1.5 lakh per year for government quota, Rs.12 lakh for Management quota and between Rs.25 lakh to Rs.28 lakh per year for NRI quota.

This amount is applicable for the entire duration of 5.5 years including internship.

Admission Process 2026, Siddaganga Medical College and Research Institute

The admission for MBBS at SMCRI is based on merit and is done through NEET-UG 2026 counselling:

Candidates have to:

  • Qualify NEET-UG 2026 conducted by NTA with valid scores.
  • Register for Karnataka counseling through the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) portal, get the documents verified and pay the fees.
