Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences, Teaching Hospital and Research Centre is a well known Muslim Minority private medical college in Peerancheru, in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana. It is affiliated with the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences(KNRUHS), Warangal and approved by the National Medical Commission.

The college is also known as Shadan Medical College, Telangana. It was established in 2005 by the Shadan Educational Society. It has MBBS (150 seats every year) and postgraduate MD/MS medical programs. The MBBS seats are divided among the three categories:

  • Category A - Government quota.
  • Category B - Management quota.
  • Category C - NRI quota.

Admission Process 2026, Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences 

The MBBS admission process is conducted by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS).

Steps:

  1. Qualify NEET-UG 2026 with a valid score.
  2. Register for counselling KNRUHS.
  3. Upload all the documents.
  4. In choice filling - select SIMS Teaching Hospital and Research Centre, Hyderabad, as preference
  5. Seats are allotted based on the NEET rank, category, preferences and availability.
  6. After the seat is assigned, download the allotment letter and pay the fees.
  7. Personally report to the college with all original documents for verification, medical check up and complete the process.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for MBBS at SIMS in 2026, candidates must:

  • Be 17 years old by 31 December 2026.
  • Qualify NEET-UG 2026 with the required percentile / valid score.
  • Have passed Class 12 (10+2) or its equivalent with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology(PCB) and English from a recognized education board and score minimum aggregate marks: 50% in PCB (General category) and (40% in PCB for reserved categories).

Both Indian and NRI/OCI candidates can apply. Students with Telangana domicile are given preference for the state quota seats.
