Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (SIMSRC) is a well-established private medical college located on Hesarghatta Main Road in Bangalore, Karnataka.

Admission Process 2026, SIMSRC

MBBS Admission process is as per standard Karnataka state counselling:

  1. Qualify NEET-UG 2026 controlled by National Testing Agency (NTA).
  2. Register for counseling through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
  3. Participate in choice filling -select SIMSRC in preferences.
  4. Complete online document verification.
  5. Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, category, and quota.
  6. Pay the prescribed fees and download the allotment letter.
  7. Report personally to the college for completing final admission formalities during the given time.

Any vacant seats can be filled by Mop-up and stray vacancy rounds.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for MBBS admission:

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry Biology (PCB) and English as main subjects with minimum aggregate in PCB (50% for general category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC and and 45% for General-PwD categories) from a recognised education board.
  • Candidates must qualify NEET-UG 2026 with valid score.
  • Candidates must be at least 17 years old on or before 31 December 2026.
  • Foreign board students have to obtain equivalency certification where applicable.
