Rajkiya Allopathic Medical College (RAMC) is a government-run, allopathic medical college located in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh, and has been operating since 2019. Its main goal is to provide better access to health care services, as well as improve the quality of medical education within this area of the country.
Affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (Lucknow) and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), formerly, RAMC had been affiliated with King George's Medical University (KGMU).
Each year RAMC Bahraich admits 100 students for its MBBS program. All students will receive clinical training at an attached 500+ bed government hospital, providing ample clinical exposure in many different clinical areas. Admission Process 2026, Rajkiya Allopathic Medical College
Candidates who are considering admission into MBBS, will have to take the NEET-UG 2026 exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency).
Steps of the Admission Process:
- Candidates must take NEET-UG 2026 examination
- Candidates must register for counseling
- 15% All India Quota (MCC counselling).
- 85% State Quota (UP DMET counseling portal).

- PwD: Minimum of 45% in PCB
- The NEET-UG 2026 exam must be passed with the required percentile
- 50th Percentile for General
- 40th Percentile for SC/ST/OBC
- 45th Percentile for PwD
- Qualified applicants can be Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs and PIOs.
