About College
Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences formally known as Government Medical College, Srikakulaum and commonly referred to as RIMS Srikakulam, is a renowned Government medical institution in the city of Srikakulu in Andhra Pradesh.
It was established in 2008 to cater to the healthcare needs of the people of the Uttarandhra region of Andhra Pradesh, by way of medical education and services.
It is affiliated with the Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and is approved by the National Medical Commission. It offers 200 MBBS seats annually as well as postgraduate (MD/MS) and Nursing medical programs.

Admission Process 2026, RIMS Srikakulam
MBBS admission is based strictly on merit - NEET-UG 2026 score.
Steps of the Process:
- Qualify NEET-UG 2026 exam conducted by NTA.
- Followed by online registration for counselling through the website of Dr.YSRUHS for 85% state quota and through MCC for 15% All India Quota.
