About College
Raichur Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Raichur is a Government-run medical college in North Karnataka. It provides quality medical education with pocket-friendly fees. The institute was founded in 2007 under the Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Department to provide medical education and healthcare services in the underserved regions of the state.
It is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, (RGUHS) Bangalore and is approved by the National Medical Commission(NMC). The college offers 150 MBBS seats per year.
Located on Hyderabad Road near Raichur Railway Station, RIMS Raichur is spread across a peaceful 50-acre campus in the historic city of Raichur. Admission Process 2026, RIMS Raichur
Admission is strictly merit-based and depends on NEET-UG 2026 performance.
- Qualify NEET-UG 2026 conducted by NTA.
- Register online through the website of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for Karnataka state counselling.
- Complete document verification and choice filling by selecting RIMS Raichur in preferences.
- Take part in the counselling rounds of mock allotment, Round 1, Round 2, mop-up and extended rounds.
