About College
The Palakkad Institute Of Medical Sciences (PIMS) is an up-and-coming private medical college located on the Palakkad - Coimbatore National Highway (NH 544) in Walayar, a city within the city limits of Palakkad and the District of Palakkad, Kerala, India.
As part of the larger multi-specialty hospital (300-beds) serving patients across Palakkad and parts of Tamil Nadu, it is one of the few medical facilities in India that has been granted accreditation by the National Medical Commission and is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences.

Admission Process 2026, PIMS Palakkad
Admission to the MBBS programme at Palakkad Institute of Medical Sciences, Palakkad is done via the NEET-UG examination.

Infrastructure
PIMS provides a full-fledged academic & clinical framework that incorporates the principle of modern-day medical training. The infrastructure of the campus consists of large lecture theatres with audio-visual equipment for teaching purposes, as well as electronic learning materials.
The facility has fully-functioning laboratories for the disciplines of Animology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, and Forensic Medicine, which will facilitate the acquisition of substantial practical skills for all students.
