About College
Established in 1924, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMCRI) is one of Karnataka’s oldest and most respected government medical colleges.
The campus is located in the heritage city of Mysuru and provides a blend of rich academic legacy with modern medical education and clinical training. It has a 1200 bed teaching hospital - KR Hospital, which is a multispeciality hospital and tertiary care centre providing the practical experience to the students in all clinical disciplines.
The college is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru, and is approved and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). MBBS Fee Structure 2026, Mysore Medical College and Research Institution

Admission Process 2026, Mysore Medical College and Research Institution
The admission process is based on merit and NEET-UG 2026 scores.
- Candidates have to appear and qualify NEET-UG 2026 (usually held in May) with a valid score.
- Candidates have to register on the website of KEA for Karnataka NEET-UG counselling.
- Candidates have to take part in choice filling and select MMCRI as preference and also go through the counselling rounds - Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round and Extended Mop-up or Stray Vacancy Round.

- Be at least 17 years old on or before 31 December 2026.
- Must qualify NEET-UG 2026 with valid score - 50th percentile for General category and 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC.
- Karnataka domicile candidates can apply for 85% state quota seats and the remaining 15% seats come under the All India Quota (AIQ).
