MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital is a Private medical college in Dandupalya, Hoskote Taluk in rural Bangalore, Karnataka. It is one of the oldest colleges in Karnataka. It was founded in 2001 by Dr. M.V.Jayaraman, an educator, philanthropist and musician who is also the founder of the Venkatesha Education Society. The vision of the institute is to provide quality healthcare services to the rural population.

The institute offers 250 MBBS seats per year and also offers postgraduate (MD/MS) and Nursing (B.Sc.,GNM, M.Sc.) medical programs. It is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru. It is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

The campus is spread over 27 acres and has an attached teaching multispeciality hospital (833 beds) and tertiary care centre that gives vast practical experience to the students, modern infrastructure, well equipped laboratories,academic blocks, residential accommodation for the students and support services.

Fee Structure 2026, MVJMC

The MBBS fees structure for the MBBS medical program is as follows:

Approx. Annual MBBS Tuition Fees

• Rs.1.41 lakhs to Rs.1.55 lakhs per year for general quota
• Rs.11.88 lakhs to Rs.13 lakhs per year for Private/management quota
• Rs.40 lakhs + per year for NRI quota

The total MBBS course fee is approx. Rs.72.91 lakhs

Additional Expenses

• Approx. Hostel and mess charges: Rs.1.95 lakhs for triple sharing room, Rs.2.10 lakhs for double occupancy rooms and Rs.2.50 lakhs for single AC Deluxe room per year (including mess).
• Application & prospectus fee: Rs.4,000.
• Bus fee: Rs.48,000 per year.
• Refundable Caution money deposit (one time): as applicable.
• Miscellaneous fees / Skill lab: Rs.60,000 per year.
• University fees for enrollment, examination fees, lab, library, sports, uniform etc. as applicable.
• Wearing a uniform is compulsory for all students.

Admission Process 2026, MVJMC

The admission process for MBBS is as under:

1. Entrance exam: Qualify NEET-UG 2026 with valid score.
2. Counselling: Register for KEA counselling and seat allotment.
3. Complete choice filling, by selecting MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital, Bangalore, in preferences.
4. Seat allotment is based on NEET rank, category and quota.
5. Verification of documents: After seat is allotted, get all the documents verified as per the KEA confirmation slip.
6. Reporting: After receiving the allotment letter, report to the college with all the documents, pay the fees and complete the admission formalities.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for MBBS are as follows:

1. Passed Class 12 (10+2) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with minimum aggregate 50% for general category/40% for reserved categories, from a recognised education board.
2. Qualify NEET-UG 2026 with valid score.
3. Be at least 17 years old by 31 December 2026.
4. Candidates can be Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs or PIOs subject to NEET-UG 2026 qualification.
