About College
Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram (GMCT) is commonly known as Trivandrum Medical College (TMC) or GMC Trivandrum. It is a Government medical institution which was established in 1951 and was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India.
Sir Alexander Fleming inaugurated the college union. The institute is known for many accomplishments -

The institute is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and is recognized by the National Medical Commission. It offers MBBS, postgraduate(MD/MS), superspeciality, doctoral, diploma and certificate courses. It admits 250 MBBS students per year, the highest in Kerala.

Admission Process 2026, GMC Thiruvananthapuram
MBBS admission is based completely on merit- NEET-UG 2026 rank.
