Established in 2005 (first MBBS batch in 2006), Mandya Institute of Medical Sciences, popularly known as MIMS, is a government autonomous medical college located in Mandya district, along the Bengaluru-Mysuru corridor in Karnataka.

The institute is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and recognized by the National Medical Commission(NMC).

MIMS offers 150 MBBS seats every year (85% Karnataka state quota and 15% All India Quota). Students train at the attached 650-bed teaching hospital, which sees well over 1,000 OPD patients daily, giving strong hands-on exposure across medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, and other core departments.

Admission is strictly merit-based through NEET.
