About College
Located on Kaanpur Road, opposite Bundelkhand University, Laxmibai Medical College (MLBMC) is one of the leading government-funded education centres for providing medical education in Bundelkhand region. This medical college was founded in 1968 with a foundation stone laid in 1965 by Dr Sushila Nayar. It is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU) Lucknow and approved by National Medical Commission (NMC). The dedicated building is on an expansive 380 acres and provides the academic & clinical resources needed to support the medical education program.
MLBMC has 750 beds in the attached Maharani Laxmibai Hospital for providing students hands-on clinical training experience.
