About College

Lady Hardinge Medical College (LHMC) is one of India's oldest and most respected Government medical institutions dedicated exclusively to women. Established in 1916 during British rule in memory of Lady Hardinge, it is located in Connaught Place, New Delhi.

The college has been affiliated with the University of Delhi since 1950 and is funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

LHMC has been consistently getting topmost ranks (including NIRF top-25) and is popular for its robust academic education and research-based opportunities. It offers MBBS ( 240 seats annually) as well as postgraduate (MD/MS) and nursing medical programs. For clinical training, it is supported by the attached 547-bed Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital, that provides hands-on experience to students.

Admission Process 2026, LHMC New Delhi

Admission to MBBS at LHMC is entirely through NEET-UG 2026.

Steps to follow:

  1. Qualify NEET-UG 2026 with the required score.
  2. Register online for counselling through the website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
  3. In choice filling, select LHMC New Delhi as preference.
