About College
KIMS Koppal, Government of Karnataka, was established in the year 2013 and is a government medical college located in Bhagyanagar along Gangavati Road in the district of Koppal, Karnataka, India, with affiliation to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru, India, and approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC).
KIMS also known as Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences is a medical school situated on around 25 acres of land and has been recognized as providing educational affordably and quality health service to the North Karnataka Region. The KIMS college accepts 150 MBBS students each year and provides post-graduate programs.
The clinical education at the KIMS college is supported by a large 750 bed hospital, with an additional 450-bed hospital facility having been added recently. KIMS has taken a strong initiative in providing support to rural communities through outreach programs and programs that promote ethical medical practice while preparing competent physicians to care for people who have limited access to healthcare.

Admission is determined by performance on the NEET-UG of 2026 and by the state of Karnataka’s (KEA’s) counselling process.
Steps:
