About College

Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (KIMSRC) is a rapidly growing private medical college, established in 2016, located at Natekal on the Mangalore-Thokkottu-Konaje University road, in a peaceful, green environment suitable for academic concentration.

The college is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru and recognized by the National Medical Commission.

Each year, KIMSRC enrolls 150 MBBS students, has a 500 bedded Kanachur Hospital and Research Centre supporting the students, and consists of modern facilities, qualified faculty and an emphasis on practical learning with emphasis on the continued education of our graduates to fulfill the varied needs of communities along the Coastal areas of Karnataka.

Admission Process 2026, Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences

  1. You must qualify for NEET UG 2026.
  2. You can register for counselling through either:
    • Karnataka Examinations Authority (State Quota)
    • Medical Counselling Committee (Management/NRI Quota)
  3. After merit lists are published, fill out the online college preferences (including KIMSRC).
  4. You will be able to participate in Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up and Stray.
  5. Pay your initial admission fee online, and download your allotment letter.
  6. must report to college within the specified time frame for:
