About College

Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute (JMMCRI) is a Christian minority private medical institution in Kerala. What began as a small dispensary in 1952 became an operational medical institution in 2003. It is owned by the Jubilee Mission Hospital Trust and is a non-profit charitable organization under the Catholic Archdiocese of Thrissur.

It is also known as the Poor Man's Hospital. The institute is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and is recognized by the National Medical Commission.

It offers MBBS, postgraduate, super speciality medical programs and research opportunities. The annual intake is 100 seats for the MBBS program (5.5 years).

The campus spans 25 acres and has an attached teaching hospital, modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, residential accommodation for students and support services.

The MBBS fees structure depends on the seat quotas.

Approximate Annual MBBS Tuition Fee:

• Management / Open Merit Quota - Rs.7,77,179 to Rs.8,56,840 per year
• NRI Quota - Rs.22.49 lakhs to Rs.22.86 lakhs per year

Total MBBS Fee (entire course)

• Management / Open Merit Quota: Rs.36.72 lakhs to Rs.40.8 lakhs
• NRI quota: Rs.85 lakhs

Hostel and mess charges: Rs.36,800 to Rs.15 lakhs per year (as per room type and facilities)

There may be additional one-time caution deposits, university fees, administrative charges etc. to be paid as applicable.

The fees are regulated by the Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) and may be revised annually.

The final fees can be confirmed from the college or at the time of counselling.

Admission Process 2026, JMMCRI Thrissur

Admission to MBBS is based totally on merit - NEET-UG 2026 exam.

1. Clear NEET-UG 2026 with qualifying marks/score
2. Register for online counselling via Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE) - KEAM portal and upload all the required documents
3. Select Jubilee Mission Medical College Thrissur, in choice filling and locking.
4. Download the allotment memo when the seat is allocated.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for MBBS candidates have to meet the following conditions:

1. Must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with minimum aggregate marks in PCB
   • 50% (General/Open)
   • 45% (OBC/SEBC and PwD)
   • 40% (SC/ST)
2. Must qualify NEET-UG 2026 with minimum required score/cutoff
3. Must be at least 17 years old as on 31 December 2026
4. Applicants can be Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs and PIOs.
5. Kerala Domicile holders are preferred for state quota seats.
6. Must be medically fit.
