Admission Process 2026, HIMS Hassan

The admission to HIMS is based only on the performance of the student in NEET-UG 2026.

To Apply For Admission To HIMS:

  • To be eligible for admission into HIMS's MBBS program you must have completed your NEET-UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted by NTA) and registered with KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority). 
  • Once you have registered at KEA you can fill in your selections for colleges including HIMS and begin participating in counseling rounds and the seat allotment process. 
  • After the seat allotment process you will download your allotment letter from KEA, pay the necessary course fees to HIMS and complete the above listed tasks to successfully secure admission into HIMS’s MBBS program.  
  • The method of allocating the available seats will be determined according to NEET rank, reservation category of the applicant and seat availability.  
  • If there are still unallocated seats available after all rounds of counseling, mop-up and stray vacancy rounds will also be conducted.  

Eligibility Criteria

be eligible to apply for the MBBS program at HIMS you must meet all the following criteria before applying for admission to the HIMS MBBS program:

  •  You will be at least 17 years old as of 31 December 2026. 
  • You have completed NEET-UG 2023. 
  • You have completed your 12th, with studies in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. 
  •  At least the following minimum grades in PCB will be a factor that affects your ability to get admitted in the MBBS course; 50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC; and 45% for PwD (persons with disabilities). 
  •  You are an India [Citizen], Non-Resident Indian [NRI], Overseas Citizen of India [OCI]. 
  • Candidates from Karnataka will have a preference for having their names placed on the State quota of applicants.
