Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (HIMSR) is a reputed private Muslim-minority medical college established in 2012 in New Delhi. It operates under Jamia Hamdard (a Deemed-to-be-University) and is recognized by the National Medical Commission. It is an 'Institution of National Importance' and was formed to improve health care and medical education in the region.

The institute is supported by the Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary Hospital (710 beds) , which provides strong clinical exposure to the students. It offers 150 MBBS seats annually and is known for its structured curriculum, experienced faculty (led by Prof. Dr. Musharraf Husain) and focus on practical medical training. Admission Process 2026, HIMSR New Delhi

Admission to MBBS at HIMSR is absolutely based on the score of the NEET-UG 2026 exam:
