H. B. T. Medical College & Dr. R. N. Cooper Municipal General Hospital has been a prestigious Government medical college in Mumbai since its establishment in 1963. It was set up by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) to offer medical education of a high standard and public healthcare. It is among the government medical colleges of Maharashtra that have made the most significant differences in clinical exposure and availability of hospital facilities in Mumbai.

The college is situated at the J. J. Hospital Campus, which is one of the oldest and busiest healthcare centers in the city, alongside other government hospitals and medical facilities. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses. Admission Process 2026 at H.B.T. Medical College

The steps to admission to the MBBS program may include the following:
