About College
Guntur Medical College Guntur, is among the oldest and most prestigious Government medical institutions, being around since 1946. It is located in the heart of the city of Guntur, in Andhra Pradesh and caters to the healthcare needs of the people of coastal Andhra Pradesh.
It has an affiliation with the Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada and is approved by the National Medical Commission.
It offers MBBS (250 seats), postgraduate (MD/MS), super-speciality, diploma and paramedical courses.
The campus is spread over a large area and is associated with the Government General Hospital (GGH) Guntur for practical training of the students.
