Government Medical College, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri is also known as GMC Yadadri or GMC Yadadri Bhuvanagiri. It is a Government formed medical institution officially in Pagidipally, Bhongiri Mandal, in the Yadadri Bhuvangir district of Telangana.

The institute was newly formed in 2024 and is affiliated with the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences(KNRUHS) and is approved by the National Medical Commission. The college offers 50 MBBS seats each year.

The campus has an attached teaching hospital with modern academic facilities and is well connected by roadway and railway as it is on the Hyderabad-Hanamkonda Highway.

Admission Process 2026, GMC Yadadri Bhuvanagiri

Admission to the MBBS course follows the NEET-based system:

Seat Allocation is based on rank, category, preferences and availability.

  1. Qualify NEET UG conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and get a valid score/ required percentile (50th for general category, lower for reserved categories).
  2. Participate in Counselling: Register online for Telangana state counselling
    • 85% state quota seats conducted by KNRUHS
    • 15% AIQ seats conducted by MCC
  3. Choice Filling & Rounds: Multiple counselling rounds (including mop-up rounds) are conducted and in choice filling, select GMC Yadadri Bhuvanagiri as preferred college.
  4. Final Admission: On allocation of the seat, pay the fees, download the allotment letter and report to the college to verify documents, medical check-up and orientation to complete the admission.

Any vacant seats may be filled through stray vacancy rounds.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Minimum age: 17 years by 31 December 2026
  2. Educational qualification: 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized education board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and secure minimum aggregate marks :
    • General: 50% in PCB
    • Reserved categories:  40% - 45%
  3. Must qualify NEET-UG 2026
  4. Eligible candidates include Indian nationals, OCIs and PIOs
  5. Candidates must also meet medical fitness standards.
