About College
Government Medical College (GMC), Vikarabad is a new medical school that was created on August 6, 2022, as part of the Telangana State Government's efforts to create medical colleges in all districts of the state.
The college is located in Ananthagiri Hills, renowned for their natural beauty and history, creating an ideal atmosphere for medical teaching and learning. The college is part of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal and holds NMC (National Medical Commission) recognition.
GMC Vikarabad has a capacity of 100 MBBS students each year, and the current campus of the college is a unique renovation of a former "British era" TB sanatorium. Admission Process 2026, GMC Vikarabad
The M.B.B.S program admission is on the basis of merit ranking for all National-Level Entrance Exams by NEET-UG 2026.
Counselling by:
- All India Quota (15% of total seats): conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
- State Quota (85% of total seats): conducted by KNR University of Health Sciences; Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria
- You must be at least 17 years of age by December 31, 2026.

- A minimum percentage of:
- 50% in combined Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for all general and EWS category applicants while obtaining an aggregate percentage for all SC, ST and OBC category applicants shall be 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- You must obtain your qualifying NEET percentile as determined by the National Testing Authority, NTA, in your respective category for the 2026 academic year.
