Established to enhance all aspects of health care and medical education in the Konkan region, Government Medical College, Sindhudurg (GMCS) is an MBBS medical college owned and operated by the State of Maharashtra located in Oros, Maharashtra. 

GMCS is governed by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and is subject to regulation by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Every year, GMCS accepts 100 students to the MBBS program.

It is attached to a government teaching hospital that supports hands-on clinical training across major departments. The campus includes academic blocks, laboratories, a central library, and separate hostels for boys and girls.
