Government Medical College, Nandyal (GMC Nandyal) is a recently established Government medical college located in Noonepalle, in the Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh. It was started in the early 2020s, as a part of the state's “Nadu-Nedu” initiative to increase medical education and improve healthcare services in the Rayalaseema region.
The college is affiliated with Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college offers MBBS medical programs presently with 150 seats per year.
The campus is spread over 50 acres and has an attached teaching hospital Government General Hospital (GGH) Nandyal, for practical training, digital classrooms, advanced laboratories, residential accommodation for the students and support services.
