About College
Government Medical College, Miraj is a well established and well known government medical college located in Miraj, Sangli District, Maharashtra. This medical college opened in 1962 and has an extensive history of imparting quality medical education and healthcare.
GMC Miraj is a National Medical Commission (NMC) recognized medical college for undergraduates and postgraduates affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik and is associated with Miraj Civil Hospital, and Sangli District Civil Hospital for clinical training and exposure.
This medical college has been developing its healthcare and academic infrastructure for many years so that it can provide quality medical education, research and services to medical professionals in Western Maharashtra.
